22/05/2014: Letter to Parents


Dear Parents,

 Our adventure is nearly upon us!

This email contains one or two final points.

 
PASSPORTS:
Although Scotland is part of the UK EasyJet require every passenger to travel holding a valid passport. No Passport: No flight

If your son or daughter is not using their passport between now and our trip, please could you hand them into Mrs Leman in the Bursary by Wednesday 28th May where they will be stored in the school safe until our journey.

If you need the passport during the half-term break please could you:

·         Send me the following passport details by return of this email (by 9:00am Wednesday 28th May at the latest):

o   Passport number
o   Your Child’s name (as it is printed on the passport)
o   Your child’s nationality
o   The passport expiry date

These details will enable early flight check-in
·         Ensure that they have their passport with them when they come to school on the Sunday morning.
 

Other information:
·         Please check the kit list on the school website. If there is any kit that you have queries about, please contact me. Do not forget that we can hire some kit at the centre.
·         Please ensure that your child has worn-in their walking boots.
·         Please remember: No electronics; no digital cameras; no phones
·         Also, please remember to put wash-bags into your child’s main luggage: No liquids, cosmetics, etc in their hand luggage.
·         Any medication to be given to Mrs Miller before your child gets on the coach.
·         Watch what we are doing on the blog (there will be a link on the website)
